Snowflakes hanging from the window are an easy and effective Christmas decoration…

**Pipe-cleaners can be sharp when cut, so remember to ask a grown up to help you with this activity!**

What you need:

*White and silver pipe cleaners

*Glue

*White cotton

*Clear or silver beads

*Glitter

How to:

1) Hold a bunch of ten 6-inch pipe cleaners together so they are all the same length and take an extra one and wrap it around the center of the bunch

2) Bend each pipe cleaner outwards and sure enough you have a basic snowflake!

3) Tie cotton to the tip of one of the snowflake points

4) Decorate your snowflake or leave it plain

*You can customise your snowflake by adding beads or you can add glitter or combine silver and white pipe-cleaners to create a fabulous snowflake design.

*You can also cut pipe cleaners to make them smaller and add to the end of your basic shape like this one on the left.
