You are probably already aware (after all the Twitter and Facebook promoting) of our rather fantabulous play date we are holding in Stafford, in August, but did you know we have even applied to have our #Borntoplay day in the Guinness book of records as the biggest play date ever! How very splendid is that?
#Borntoplay is in aid of Save the Children’s ‘born to’ campaign which you can read about here.
The #Borntoplay date is on Saturday 13th August 2011 and runs from 10am- 1pm and Tickets and donations can be bought/made here – or from local Stafford schools and nurseries soon.
#Borntoplay will feature entertainers, stalls, games, singing, dancing, magicians, baby sensory, zumba time, arty fun and generally fantabulous fun! We even have very special guests attending, the Mayor and Mayoress of Stafford!
We would like to take this opportunity to say a great big thank you to all the fabulous companies who have donated their time and products to our very special day.
A great big thanks so far to …
Nicola from Zumba dance
Hipp organic
Clinton cards
Stone Junction PR
Who loves me
Stafford Cricket Club

Jenny Collier of Unit Twelve

Our lovely Stall holders
And a big thanks to all the volunteers who have offered their time on the day!
If you think you have something which would help our #Borntoplay day go with a bang (such as donations for our grand prize draw or time to spare on the day) please get in touch. All companies donating their time, money or products to #borntoplay will be mentioned frequently on our social media sites and in each post about the play date with a link to their site.
If you would like a stall on the day please email [email protected] for more information.
Tickets and donations can be bought/made here!

where abouts in stafford is the play date and do we have to book or can we just turn up. what sort of age children is it for?ThanksKay
Hi Kay!
It’s better to pre-book to avoid waiting at the gate on the day, however, you can just turn up and pay.
Tickets can be bought via our justgiving page (link above) or at smileys nursery in Stafford.
The event takes place 10-1 at Stafford cricket club, Riverway, Stafford.
There will be red balloons at the entrance so it’ll be easily spotted.
There’s lots for all ages! Baby and toddler sensory for younger ones and a magic show (starts at 10) for older children together with hair braiding, football challenge, competition stalks and a free (that’s right free!) bouncy castle!
Also fire-service and stalls and games!
Hope to see you there!
