Our precious bedtime routine by  Danielle

I am Mummy to a beautiful toddler girl called Keira and bedtime is one of my favourite times of day.

I begin the evening by running a lovely and warm bubbly bath in which Keira has a nice scrubba-dub-dub (and a little play too – we make bubble beards and sing songs!

When bath time is over I give her a little massage and this always relaxes her ready for teeth brushing time and bed!

We both get into her bed and sing a lullaby followed by a story of her choice (usually The Gruffalo or Guess How Much I Love You).
Most nights she falls asleep in my arms before the story has finished.
I’m afraid to admit that I lay there with her for a little while longer than is needed – just counting my blessings and reflecting on the joy she brings to my life.
