Hi!

I’m Fi Star-Stone, or as I seem to be called by parents and children, ‘Nanny Fi!’

I live in Staffordshire with my husband, my two lovely littlies, my dog and my cat! My daughter Betsy (2) and my son, Oscar (1) were born exactly a year apart!

I’m a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 20 years experience in childcare and have two Diplomas – one in Nursery Nursing and one in Childhood Studies.  I also hold a Degree in Childhood and Youth studies together with training certificates in baby sign language, sleep training  and breast feeding support.

I’ve worked in many different sectors of childcare, the most recent being a Professional Nanny. In 2005 and 2006 my employers nominated me for the Professional Nanny of the year awards. I was shortlisted two years running and made it to the final where I was awarded ‘highly commended’ by The Professional Association of Nursery Nurses in both years.

I write articles for parenting websites and magazines and am the Parenting expert on Stafford FM!

Any problem, no matter how small or silly you think it is, I may be able to help! All questions are answered free of charge and within 48 hours where possible.  You’ll receive a questionaire to help me identify the problem, and then together we will work through the problem via email.
