Here at Childcare is fun we have had the most awesome 2011 and it’s all thanks to you, our readers, and the wonderful companies we are fortunate to work with!

2011 saw Childcare is fun get bigger and better than before, more followers, more hits to the site and blog, and even a few award nominations and wins!

 

The parenting advice service went crazy – averaging 150 emails a week, all answered for FREE by (mostly) me and some by my wonderful team.

2011 brought our readers celebrity interviews with lovelies such as Mel C, Duncan Bannatyne and Emma forbes, together with wonderful blogger events, (our favourite being Cybermummy which we thoroughly enjoyed attending thanks to our lovely sponsors yoomi.)

We have had a wonderful year that ended with our teeniest new team member – little Jemima, born two months early and weighing a tiny 2 1bs 7! This year Jemima will join our mini tester team as she grows bigger and puts new and fabulous products to the Childcare is Fun challenge!

 

In 2011 we launched a brand new play date in aid of Save The Children called ‘Born to play’ which we will be holding again in July 2012! The event was hugely successful and raised lots of much needed money for the charity.

We even contributed to a book to raise money for the charity which you can read all about here!

 

And finally – the icing on the cake was being asked to have a regular slot on a local radio station as their Parenting expert! Wow! (You can tune in every Tuesday at 11am on Stafford FM!)
