Today I saw I’d slipped right down another ranking tool,
I kicked myself for signing up, I feel such a fool.
These rankings are so silly, with points and scores and charts,
It made me think, I’ll cause a stink and pull them all apart.
But stop, I thought- does it really matter in the grand scheme of writing?
Do comments count and then amount to a chart where everyone’s fighting?
Fighting to stay at number 1 or 5 or 42,
“I’ve gone up 30 on wiki, on Tots I’ve gone down 402″
Does it really matter? Do the PRs really care? (They don’t I’ve already asked them, they like me for my flare!)
So sitting at the bottom of every ranking site, you’d think I’d feel quite low, and feel the blogging bite…
But I don’t, I write for pleasure, to share top tips with everyone! I write for YOU, my lovely followers, with love,
