It’s arrived! my postcard from #TeamHonk all the way from Ghana. (You can read more about Team Honk here.)
This photo was taken at a school on the edge of a slum in Accra. Amazingly this school was started by just one woman with 12 children in a hut – now, thanks for Comic Relief funding, it’s a block building that teaches 250 children! And what happy and ethusiastic children they are – these were learning synonyms when we arrived, do I know what synonyms are? NO! Incredibly neat handwriting too!
This is a digital postcard sent from TeamHonk (www.mammasaurus.co.uk; www.aresidence.co.uk; www.mummybarrow.com ) during their travels with Comic Relief in Ghana celebrating #goodwork.
For the past 25 years the money raised through Red Nose Day has been changing the lives of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa. Let’s Keep Up the Good Work. Find out how at rednoseday.com
