Little FunFest – big fun for little (and not so little) people!

I’m a bit of a festy goer and love the atmosphere of a festival, so we were mighty excited to be invited to LittleFun Fest on Saturday to a world of Wizards, rides, circus fun, and TV lovelies Mr Bloom and Alex Winters.

The littlies were blown away with the unlimited rides all included in the price if the ticket, and couldn’t believe they could go on the merry-go-round twenty-gazillion times!

The Tractor ride was awesome – pretty dusty and bumpy but exactly how a tractor ride should be! Think Indiana Jones in a barrel and your half way there.

Oz and Betsy learned how to fly a broom with Harry Potter and Betsy even managed to get hers off the ground despite being a muggle. Smart girl.

We were blessed with glorious sunshine all day which meant we could enjoy our picnic on the grass as we watched the wonderful world of funFest carry on around us.

Favourite characters wondered around saying hello, Betsy was particularly excited by the fairies wondering around where as Oz could not wait to see Mr Bloom, who he had a VIP meet and greet with later in the day. His little face was a picture when Mr Bloom walked into the room – he ran over and gave him a big hug and later offered him his raisins!

Betsy loves that there Alex Winters fella who was so lovely around all the parents and littlies – photos a plenty, he never refused anyone.

I’ve been challenging Alex to a dance off (jokingly) for weeks on Twitter, never thinking he’d take it seriously, so Betsy was very excited when Mummy went on stage! More of that in other post, but lets just say my breakdancing moves need a little work if I’m ever to win a dance off!

The day was all topped of beautifully with meeting up with bloggers and Twitter mates – a truly awesome and fun crowd that made our day even more fun (thanks for the on-stage support guys!)

I’m really hoping Little FunFest will be back next year – it was a truly amazing festival for littlies and their grown ups and superbly organised.

No tears, no tantrums just big fun for little (and not so little) people!
