Chicken-licken’ Curry

This mild curry is great for educating your littlies palate!

Introducing a wide range of flavours will discourage fussy eating in later years, it’s also a fab recipe to make with your littlies!

You will need:

4 Skinned Chicken Fillets

Mild curry powder

Plain Flour

Currants

2 cored,peeled and diced apples

1 Peeled and diced potato

2 Peeled and diced carrots

1 peeled and diced onion

1 pint of chicken stock

How to:

Grown ups:

Shallow fry the diced chicken in a little oil.

When brown, add the onion,carrots and potato mixing all the time.

 

Children (with help) :

Add the curry powder giving a quick mix, then add the pint of stock.

Add the other ingredients and leave to simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve with boiled or Pilau Rice and Nam Bread.
