Woosh bang! It’s bonfire night, so to celebrate we made our very own pretend rocket fireworks!
To make a rocket firework you’ll need:
Toilet roll
Paint to colour the rocket
Coloured paper for the rocket top
Orange paper or tissue for the fire
Glue
Glitter
How to:
1. Cut the bottom of the toilet roll and paint white.
2. Draw a circle onto the coloured paper and cut out. Then cut a line into the centre.
3. Slide the circle into a cone shape and attach to the top of your toilet roll.
4. Cut strips into your orange tissue or paper.
5. Curl around and secure with sticky tape.
6. Glue inside of the toilet roll and push the orange paper inside. This is the rockets fire!
7. Glue all over the rocket and sprinkle with glitter.
8. Allow to dry and then, Woosh! Bang! You’ve a pretend firework rocket to play with!
