My little girl is at that wonderful age of funny phrases, conversations and learning. This conversation happened a couple of days ago and will stick with me forever…
B “Mummy?”
Me “Yes?”
B “When I grow up I’m going to have big, big, boobies.”
Me “Yes that’s right… When you are all grown up.”
B “And boobies are for milk.”
Me “That’s right – to feed your baby when they are born.”
B “I’ve got milk in my boobies now.”
Me “No my lovely, you haven’t now. You get milk in your boobies when you have a baby in your tummy. Special magic happens that tells your Boobies to make milk. The Bobbies then get milk ready for your baby.”
B looks at me sideways, runs off, and re-appears with a dolly up her jumper.
B “Now I’ve got milk in my boobies Mummy?”
