Walking with a spring in our step (or Seven!)

You may remember us telling you all about our exciting opportunity to become a Foresty commission blogger? Well, we have been out an about again to the wonderful Cannock chase with our new Discovery Pass.

Seven Springs is one of our favourite places to go in the summer with swimming kits and a picnic. The shallow springs are a great place for littlies to play (attended by their VERY watchful parents – safety first lovelies!)

In the winter they take on a whole different look. Icy, wintery, muddy fun for littlies and their grown-ups, and muddy fun that we adore.

Today we went for a walk up a huge hill. It took us just under an hour and little man Oscie walked most of the way, taking a few rests in his buggy when the terrain got a little tough.

I love getting out an about with the littlies and feel so lucky being surrounded by such natural beauty. The fresh air makes us feel so alive that we walk with a spring in our step (or Seven!)

If you are passing by Staffordshire – Seven Springs at Cannock chase is well worth a visit! If you are visiting in the Winter – bring your wellies. In the summer? Swimmers and towels!
