Victoria Beckham has come under fire for a photo she shared showing her kissing her little girl Harper on the lips.
The beautiful shot was shared on Victoria’s instagram account as a tribute to Harper as she celebrated her fifth birthday and has since received a rather awful backlash with some instagram users calling the pair ‘lesbians’.
Many have suggested that David’s photo of their daughter on her birthday was a much better tribute, and much better moment shared because they are not kissing on the lips.
To me, both moments are equally special. If David had kissed Harper on the lips, I’d not look at in in any other way than a loving photo of father and daughter.

Should you kiss your children on the lips?
As a mum of two (a girl and a boy) I kiss both of my children on the lips and am horrified that such a loving moment has received such a negative response.
It worries me how many see an image of mother and daughter sharing a special moment, a special bond as something else. It disturbs me how many people have sexualised such an innocent and loving moment and made it into something obscene and wrong.
I really fear what the world is coming to when you can’t publicly show your affection and love for your children.
This video shares my thoughts on Doctor Charlotte Redneck comments last year that kissing is wrong because ‘kissing the mouth is an erogenous zone which “can be stimulating” and subsequently cause confusion for children.’

I think this is shocking that she received any negative comments for showing love to her children. It’s a kiss and she’s her mother. I kiss my daughter on the lips. Surely people have something better to do xx
