These Top Toddler teatime treats are a great way of hiding veggies for littlies who refuse to eat them. Simply grate the veggies and hide under the puree! Cheeky but a great way of getting those essential five-a-day into little ones.
You will need:
Bread (white or brown)
Gingerbread man shape cutter
Tomato puree
Spinach
Grated cheese
Grated carrot
Universe pasta (available at Tesco)
How to:
1. Roll the bread flat (not too flat!) and then let the littlies cut out the spaceman shape with the cutter.
2. Spread a thin layer of puree over the spacemen
3. Add a chopped spinach leaf and grated carrot to each spaceman pizza shape.
4. Top with the grated cheese
(You can also add ham if you fancy!)
5. Cook in the oven on 180 for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve with universe pasta shapes (available from Tesco) and enjoy!
