Another ‘raising cancer awareness’ tag has started on Facebook.
I’ve been tagged several times being asked to post a photo of myself to raise awareness of cancer.
Instead I posted this…
Why? Because losing someone you love to cancer is terrifying.
It’s horrible, it’s devastating, it’s unbearable. It’s ongoing.
Watching someone you love, fight cancer is soul destroying.
Of course there are happy endings to cancer. Some fight and win, and one of the reasons they do is because of research into this horrid disease.
I was so pleased that my post inspired others to do the same.
Similar status updates to mine appeared and some shared my photo and link to cancer research.
