The Antibac Pen – Certified Superbug Killer!

Pens that are passed from person to person provide a hotbed for virus transmission such as colds and flu. However, the new Antibac Pen which we were recently asked to review, kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses making it a new favourite pen of mine!

As a mum of two toddlers, I find we are fighting bugs and colds constantly, so anything that can aid the battle of the bugs is great!

The Antibac Pen is made from specially treated plastic that has an active ingredient which means, as soon as the pen comes into contact with bacteria it starts destroying them. How cool is that?!

The active (secret!) agent is effective for the lifetime of the pen, is non-carcinogenic, child safe, UV proof and water-insoluble, scratch and wear resistant. Now that sounds like some 007 Bond pen doesn’t it?!

To look at, then pen isn’t that special – just a regular pen with the Antibac logo, but it holds a rather clever secret – It fights bugs! In fact the Antibac Pen is the only antibacterial pen approved to British Standards and is used in hospitals around the UK as it is effective against MRSA, E Coli, Norovirus, Salmonella, Listeria, and many more!

My husband  has regular meetings all over the country and I feel it’s here he picks up colds and nasties and brings them home to us. I’ve given him a pen now too so he’s always using his own pen rather than the pens provided at the meetings.

When I sign for a parcel at the door now, I use the Antibac pen rather than the postman’s and I also take one with me in my bag.

O.K, so one pen isn’t going to stop all the bugs, especially with little ones, but we think that a little step in helping protect the family against the nasties is a step in the right direction.
