I love a spot of pampering, and I especially love it after a long training run or workout, so imagine my delight to be asked to try out some rather lovely new products from Calcot Manor Spa Retreat.
The range of bath and body products, developed by the Spa team at Calcot, offers everything you need for an indulgent spa-at-home experience – this makes make them the ideal ‘me time’ product for busy mums!
The collection comprises 17 products across three sub ranges; The Lazy Evening, The Perfect Day and The Signature De-Stress Collection.
First impressions of the The Signature De-Stress Collection that we were sent to review, was the packaging. It reminded me of expensive spa brands and made me want to go jump in the bath right away! (With two toddlers – that didn’t happen!)
After a long, cold run in the snow, I jumped into a glorious, floaty, bubbly bath using the De-Stress bath float and it smelt Devine. I’m not sure if the bath float or just the bath itself made me feel de-stressed, but I certainly felt more chilled after my soak!
The De-stress body balm is my favourite of the three products I was sent to review. It smells gorgeous! Infused with what Calcot Manor say is ‘their unique flower blend’ I have to say it’s a pretty awesome mix of Orange blossom and Orchid that isn’t overpowering or too greasy on the skin! I’ve been using the balm daily and it’s not even made a dent in the 500ml pot! It’s made a really nice difference to my skin too!
The body buff was great, but left my skin feeling a teeny bit tingly. However, on using the balm I was smooth as silk and smelt pretty good too!
