When the sun comes out I automatically pop on my sunshades. Not to look cool or summery, but to protect my eyes on super-sunny days!
At the same time, I offer the littlies their sunglasses and more often than not, they’ll wear there’s too. But how many parents offer their little ones shades? Do you?
On a recent holiday to Cuba where the sun was at its brightest, my two toddlers wore some rather funky Lollipop shades sent to us by the lovelies at Beach Factory.
Lollipop glasses (£6.95) come in a variety of colours and offer UV400 protection for little eyes. All the sunglasses meet the requirements of BS EN 1836:2005.
The sunglasses are light, a great fit for little ones (an almost wrap around feel) and protect their young eyes from the sun. Not only that – they are pretty unbreakable! Our littlies have worn them swimming on holiday, dropped them many times, buried them at the beach and even worn them at a wedding (see Oz below in his cute Best Man suit!)
Oz and B are so used to their glasses now that they’ll ask for them if it gets super sunny outside, which is great. Protecting littlies eyes has never been so much fun!
We were sent two pairs of Lollipop glasses for review purposes
