Summer is here! (It really is!) So what better way to keep cool and hydrated than snacking on these homemade ice-pop stars!
These simple ice-lollies are great for little ones as they’re small and easy to manage and you can even pop them in a bowl and use the attached straw to suck the ice-cold juice!
You can use any flavour you like in the ice-pop stars, we chose orange but have made lime, strawberry and even lemon!
To make ice-pop stars you’ll need:
Star shaped ice cube tray
Chopped Plastic straws
Fresh orange juice
Water
How to:
1. Make a jug of fresh orange juice and water
2. Pour into the star ice tray
3. Pop the cut straws into the tray
4. Freeze
(to make strawberry flavoured ice-pop stars, simply blend a few strawberries and add water)
Enjoy your cool ice-pop lollies in the summer sun!

I’ve just made peach melba icepops and can’t wait for them to freeze. I love the idea of these little star ones though. I have a star ice-mould too though, so I might have to give these a go too.
