Hiding presents – a challenge and a half!

Hiding presents is a challenge and a half,
In our house there’s detectives – I’m not having a laugh!
They snoop and they sneak, they look and they peak,
It’s like mission impossible on Christmas week.

But I’ve outsmarted all of them this year for sure,
They’re not in the cupboard or behind the shed door,
They’re not in the loft (I’m titchy – can’t reach)
They’re not in the bathroom or cupboards with bleach!

I’ve found a good spot- a super hidey place,
It’s right in front of them but they can’t see it- it’s ace!
In a corner of the garage sits a box labelled ‘Uni books’
It’s a box where no child or husband ever looks.

Sadly on reading this post my husband will know,
And next year I’ll have to find another place to go,
To hide all the awesome that they asked Santa for,
Not cupboards, not garages, not under the floor.

I’ve already had a think and I’ve found the perfect store,
To hide all their gifts until December 24!
But that is a secret – I’ll not ever tell!
So til’ then merry Christmas, have you hidden your gifts well?

Tots 100 are hosting a competition ‘Where do you hide your Christmas Presents?’

This post is an entry into the Hudl Christmas cheer competition
