Guess how much I love you? Win a copy of the new DVD!

Oh how we love this book ~ it’s one of our favourites in the Childcare is Fun household and one we have read to our little ones since they were very tiny, so imagine our delight when we were told author Sam McBratney’s characters will star in their first DVD this Christmas!

With eight adorable episodes, the DVD (RRP £9.99) is the first time that the characters drawn by Anita Jeram will appear on screen.

As well as the Nut Brown Hares, fans will meet other countryside creatures including Little White Owl and Little Field Mouse. The episodes follow the friends fun and the life lessons they learn along the way.

We love the DVD (we were lucky enough to review a copy back in November) – it makes us feel all warm and glowy inside! For those stuck on Christmas present ideas for families – it’ll make an ideal gift this Christmas for littlies everywhere!

As part of our Christmas spectacular, we have one copy of this lovely DVD to give away to one lucky Childcare is Fun reader! To be in with a chance of winning simply tell us ‘how much you love someone’ this Christmas!

I love my husband more than anything in the world (equalled only by my love for my son!)

He has stood by me through two chemically induced menopauses (crazy lady alert!), surgery, depression, and the most horrific pregnancy sickness imaginable and other pregnancy complications. When we took our vows at our wedding I knew we didn’t even need the “for better or worse worse” part because he had already shown how much he would support me through everything life threw at us, and vice versa.

I am so proud to call him my husband and my best friend and, as I say, my love for him is only rivalled by my love for my boy (how could something so beautiful come out of 9 months of sheer hell?)

Now I have to go as I am quite teary from writing that!! x

I love my daughters Keira and Rosie more than anything in the world.
They continue to teach me , make me proud and make my heart fill with love every day xxx

I’m loving our new kitten this Xmas. He’s filled a gap in our family and completed us. He keeps me company when I’m studying and at night when the boys are in bed and he provides much laughter with the boys who he is inseparable from. Love my lil Buddha!

Adorable! Pets just add a certain something to a family I think. We’ve a cat and a dog and they’re a big part of our family.

I love my son so much and the way he knows exactly how to cheer me up. I was poorly on his birthday on Saturday, he was more concerned about making sure i was ok than opening his presents

As well as my 3 children I love my husband for all the usual reasons and for everything he’s been through; his first wife of 18 years and mother to their 8 children, died through illness, leaving him to look after 6 of their children on his own.
He also lost 2 baby daughters through illness and went through a really tough time for a while.
After all this, he remained strong for me and our children when I nearly died of blood clots on the lung 3 years ago and he got me through the depression I had when the epidural needle broke off into my back when I was having our first child. I had to have an operation to remove it and the wound got infected. It took 3 months of daily home visits from the community nurse to get the wound to close and eventually heal. I’ve never suffered with depression as bad as that I did that time and he was the one who got me through it.
On top of all that, he’s loved me no matter what weight I am, even when I went up to 31 stone.
He’s my rock and my biggest supporter on my weight loss journey. If it wasn’t for him I know I would have given up again by now. Because he believes I can do, I believe I can do it.
Like the other commentor, I’m now getting a bit misty so I’m going to go!

Good luck to the other entrants :) xx

Oh my goodness! What a terrible time you’ve all had of it. Thanks for sharing and you have me all teary eyed now too!

I always thought it was a cliche and exaggeration before embarking on motherhood myself, but I have to say I love my 3 children more than anything imaginable… to the moon and back again

I don’t know where to start! I have three children who I look at and can’t believe they are a part of our lives. To see them smile- well, as they say #thatisall
My children, my life, my love

  • Liz Tumbridge

I love my girls more than life itself. I melt every time my eldest says “You’re my favourite and most special mummy and I love you more than the moon!” How do you match a love like that?! And, of course, I love the man who gave them to me too!! xx
