Parents can bring the enchanted world of Neverland to life while raising vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity with a new Peter Pan children’s party pack.
This unique pack lets children step into JM Barrie’s popular tale Peter Pan, with everything from beautifully illustrated party invites and bunting to game ideas and tips for getting them excited about fundraising.
Children can dress up as lost boys, fairies, pirates and mermaids, and the pack includes Peter Pan themed materials to help party hosts transform any space into Neverland, with artistic cake toppers, place settings, swords and wands to create a truly magical party.
In place of gifts, guests are encouraged to make a small donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s charity. The money raised will go towards funding the invaluable work of the play specialists, who help to bring comfort and familiarity to patients during their time in hospital, and prepare them for any procedures they will have.
Peter Pan has enjoyed a special relationship with the hospital, with the story’s author JM Barrie giving all the rights to Peter Pan to Great Ormond Street Hospital in 1929. Since then, the hospital has benefited from proceeds received from stage productions, as well as from Peter Pan books and other products.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity spokesperson Joanna Rolfe says,
Peter Pan has a special place in the charity’s hearts and we really hope that families enjoy bringing the wonderful tale to life whilst raising vital funds. The play specialists really make a difference to the patient’s hospital experience bringing a sense of normality to their lives during their stay.
