Playing with snow and ice is a great sensory activity outdoors, but have you thought about bringing the snow inside?
We never miss a snow-play opportunity outside to enjoy the fun but when we get too sooo we have some snow fun inside!
Have no snow? Make your own!
Simply pop ice cubes in a plastic bag, crush with a rolling pin and place on a tray for snow and ice fun until it melts.
As the ice/snow melts talk about the feel, taste and smell of the snow/ice.
You can even add food colouring to create magical fairy snow or rainbow snow! Or how about adding peppermint or vanilla flavouring to the ice and snow for a total sensory taste overload?!
